Beyond the design and development of the product itself we can also provide creative direction and strategic advice to help you with branding and marketing.

Kitchen Hygiene Accessory
Product Design, Pitch Deck, IP advice
The inventor of this kitchen hygiene accessory concept came to us with the proverbial sketch on the back of an envelope. We worked with them to develop the idea into a viable design using traditional and rapid prototyping techniques. We also advised them on licencing and created a pitch deck that demonstrated the benefits of the range to potential backers and stakeholders.

Garden Product
Product Design, Strategy, IP Advice
Plant theatres were extremely popular in Victorian times and our client wanted to bring them back with a modern twist. We designed a range of folding products in different materials that were simple to manufacture and assemble. We produced CAD drawings, created a pitch deck to attract industry buyers and advised on marketing strategy, range extension, and licencing. See more

Bespoke Lectern
Product Design and Visualisation
We were asked to design a bespoke lectern for Camelot Group UK that could adjust to facilitate key executives during presentations and conferences. Our solution was a fiberglass and steel design with a mechanism to allow the height to be raised and lowered remotely from the control desk using DMX. The elegant and distinctive design incorporates lighting, microphone connections, and space for water and glass.

Music Technology
Development Strategy
Drawing on our industry experience, we worked with Dr Andrew McPherson of Queen Mary University London on the development strategy of this unique sensing technology for digital keyboards. Our work included overseeing production of a new prototype, creating an investor pitch deck, advising on presentation content, and helping him with brand and IP advice.

Keytar
Product Design and Development
Played by the likes of Herbie Hancock, Jean-Michel Jarre, Rick Wakeman and Will.i.am; the Roland AX-1 is a sought-after collectable classic whose legacy lives on in contemporary iterations. The compact, lightweight design features a distinctive neck with a revolutionary control layout. Still in use today, the AX-1 is one of the many music and pro-audio products co-designed by Andrew as a founding partner of Space Logic Industrial Design Consultants.

Studio Equipment
Product Design and Development
Andrew has worked on the design of a wide range of products for the music industry. From portable 6-channel mixers and 19” rack gear to 48-channel studio behemoths. His understanding of control surface layout, ergonomics, materials, and engineering combine with his visual aesthetic ability to create lasting products for companies including Roland, Yamaha, Fostex, Trident and Bandive to name but a few.

MIDI Percussion Controller
Product Design and Future Thinking
The HandyPad-5 was Space logic's first product for Roland and led to Andrew having a long-term relationship with the Corporation working as a futurist on the design of products in the music industry. Many of the concepts he developed at that time were put into production several years later once technology had caught up with his ideas!
